A Chocolate for Pairing
This bean is well-known for winning awards and having layers of flavorful notes of nuttiness followed by cherry after an initial burst of deep chocolate. From San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic, this is a bean that we have worked with for a few years and enjoy every new batch. It is often favored over our other dark by those who enjoy black coffee and fine whiskey. For an interesting experience, try both side by side and compare the difference between the origins with matched cacao content.
Many of our customer routinely pair this bar with a fine whiskey or rye as it provides a great balance.

Note: We also offer this bar with dried organic cherries if you'd like to enhance the overall cherry profile of the bar. These have a shelf life of 3 months.
